Bilbao International Airport, only 100 kilometres from Santander, has direct and regular connections with the main European capital cities. There is a continuous bus service between Santander and Bilbao.


RENFE Railway Station is located at the “Plaza de las Estaciones” in the centre of Santander. It offers a daily ALVIA train to Madrid-Alicante, a daily TALGO and express train to Madrid and an Intercity service to Albacete, Alicante, Avila, Madrid, Palencia and Valladolid.
It also offers a regional train service between Reinosa and Santander.

From León via the N-621 and crossing the “Puerto de S. Glorio” mountain pass.
